Ioannis Vandoulakis holds a PhD from Moscow Lomonosov State University. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Center Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Paris. He currently teaches at the Hellenic Open University and the Open University of Cyprus. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and the Fernuniversität in Hagen (Germany). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the international journals Symmetry: Art and Science, Ganita Bharati and Felsefe Arkivi. Vice President of the Logica Universalis Association and co-President of the International Society for the Interdisciplinary Study of Symmetry. Member of the American Mathematical Society, the European Mathematical Society and the International Association of Symbolic Logic.
